Reports
The SANnav Management Portal implements a highly flexible reporting infrastructure that enables you to generate custom reports of your SAN environment based on your need.
Both Dashboards and Reports represent a collection of widgets, and they are generated in the same way. The key difference is that reports are static whereas dashboards can be "live."
To view the contents of a report, you must first create content by selecting one or more Status or Performance widgets, and then generate a report from a template. Reports are generated based on filters, network scope, and date range. You can generate reports on demand or can schedule them to generate at daily, weekly or monthly time intervals. You can create a maximum four schedules for a one report content.
Reports are generated in PDF, HTML, and CSV formats and are downloaded as a .zip file during Export.
For report content, data is retrieved based on the previously-saved scope and filter selections or the default scope if the saved scope and filter is unavailable.
